Hofburg Palace
Hofburg Castle - is the former official residence of the royal court in Vienna. Here were members of the ruling dynasty of Austria until 1918. Today, the walls of this castle periodically president lives and works in Austria.
Hofburg Palace is a whole complex of unique structures that were created in the 13th - 19th centuries. Today on the palace grounds operate the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Museum of Natural History.
The new part of the castle was built in the period from 1881 to 1913. It attracts tourists not only for its amazing architectural style, but also the unique collections of weapons, books and musical instruments.
